Eugene Chiu, CIO

Eugene was appointed Chief Information Officer in November 2004.  He is responsible for the Information and Technology Department.  

Eugene worked with KPMG Risk Management Division as a consultant. He performed risk assessment on site, interviewed management staff and overhauled the project management process. Eugene was responsible for preparing assessment reports and making recommendations.

Prior to working with KPMG, Eugene worked for Ontario Municipal Employee Retirement System (OMERS), one of the largest pension funds in Canada, for 6 years as an in-house system consultant and project manager. He worked with the Investment Division, Pension Division within OMERS over the years as well as managing and implementing many high profile projects. He has extensive experience in financial and investment systems.

He graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science degree and minor in Management.
